Manchester United supremo Ed Woodward is trying to seal a transfer deal for Bournemouth hitman Josh King amid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's determination to sign a striker.

Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is the one in charge of transfer negotiations at Old Trafford. And he's reportedly angered Bournemouth in negotiations to try and bring Josh King back to the club.

“Sometimes I say something here and something else happens, sometimes I say I'm happy with a player and he gets a different message, so I don't want to help or make speculations grow more and more today.
“I expect nothing to happen, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.”
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe was coy when quizzed on King.
But he did insist that the player, who was once on United's books as a youngster, was valued by himself and the club.
"I'm not going to deny anything you have read but I don't want to talk about it too much. He is much valued and loved by us," he said.

"He is a massive part of our team, he brings that unique pace and strength, coupled with technical ability and an eye for goal.
"We have missed him since he has been out injured, so speaking as manager I would be very reluctant to let him leave.
"With a day to go in the window it's very difficult to find a replacement.
"It's going to be [a decision] between the chief executive and owner. I love Josh as a player and person.
"I know what Manchester United means to him with his history with the club, so I understand his position."
