Tottenham: Harry Kane injury is a ‘big loss’ says Jose Mourinho
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has been backed by Charlie Nicholas to hold Liverpool to a draw in their Premier League clash on Saturday evening, despite his ready-made excuse that Spurs have injuries to contend with. Harry Kane has been ruled out of action until April with a hamstring problem.
Liverpool have dropped just two points all season and look like they’re on the verge of becoming Premier League champions.
A win over Spurs would make it the best start to any league campaign in football history across the top five league in Europe.
Spurs have been inconsistent under Mourinho, who has taken losses to both former clubs Manchester United and Chelsea this season.

Tottenham’s season took a bigger hit on Thursday night when it was confirmed that striker Kane wouldn’t return to training until April because of a hamstring tear.
And despite Sky Sports pundit Nicholas’ view that Mourinho is making excuses with injuries already, he thinks the Portuguese will manager to grab a point off Liverpool.
“It is a cracking game. Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko are out,” Nicholas told Sky Sports.

“But Jose has always been the manager who will get a result from this sort of game.
“He will block the wide areas and will highlight where the real dangers lie.
“He may play Lucas Moura down the middle and Heung-Min Son out the left, and try to bring in players to counter-attack and block the path of the full-backs.
“It will not stop the title march; it may deflect it for a while but I think Liverpool will be happy with a point from this.
