Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reiterated the club are looking to sign players in the January transfer window after losing to Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Manchester United were dealt a significant blow in their hopes of winning the Carabao Cup this season, after they lost 3-1 to rivals Manchester City in the first leg of their semi-final clash.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it a priority to strengthen his side in the January transfer window, after a plan to overhaul the squad in the summer only saw three players added.
And after the game at Old Trafford last night, the Norwegian insisted he is still looking to add to his current squad.
"We are a young team and with injuries we've had and illnesses it shows more and [signing players] is something we're looking at,” Solskjaer said.
“If something is there for us, I've got the backing to do something but if it isn't the right thing we won't do anything.”

City appeared to be coasting in the second half when some sloppy passes were capitalised on by Marcus Rashford, who went on to beat City keeper Claudio Bravo with a pin-point finish.
The goal still gives United some hope of progressing to the final, but after the game Solskjaer admitted his rebuilding plan is still a work in progress.
"I have said before, it is not a quick fix," said Solskjaer.
"It is something that we have started and you can see we are still a way off but it is something that needed doing."
Before United travel to the Etihad for the second leg they face a busy couple of weeks.

United take on Norwich this weekend, then play Wolves in a mid-week FA Cup third-round replay, before taking on league leaders Liverpool and then facing another midweek match with a Premier League clash against Burnley.
And while United are looking to strengthen their squad this month, one player who could be leaving Old Trafford is club captain Ashley Young.
According to Sky Italy, United are in advanced talks with Inter Milan over signing the defender.
The report claims the 34-year-old has also expressed a desire to make the move to Serie A.

However, when the question was posed to Solskjaer about Young’s future at the club after the game, the United boss insisted he didn’t want to see his side made any weaker.
"Tonight is not the time to talk about players leaving,” Solskjaer said.
“Because we need the players we have in the squad and we've got a few months left of this season.
“We can't weaken ourselves, we need to strengthen ourselves, if any movement is going to happen."
