Man Utd: Paul Pogba's agent is in 'selling mode' says expert
Manchester United have been commended for stopping other agents copying Mino Raiola’s tactics in negotiations for Erling Braut Haaland. The super-agent requested a fee as part of the transfer package, which saw United pull the plug on a deal for the former RB Salzburg star.
Borussia Dortmund had no problems reaching an agreement though, paying Raiola and Haaland’s father Alf-Inge separate fees to conclude proceedings.
United have been keen to reiterate that it was them who in fact walked away from the table, as opposed to missing out on the deal.
They have endured a frosty relationship with Raiola in the past and Sky Sports man Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that United have avoided further complications with other agents by vetoing the move.

“This situation, I guess also highlights how agents make their money.
“It isn’t necessarily from transfer fees but more percentage of a player’s contract.
“With Raiola specifically, United, as we know, have had a mixed relationship with him.
“Sir Alex Ferguson vowed never to deal with him amid the Paul Pogba departure in his first spell at Old Trafford before Ed Woodward was then happy to negotiate with Raiola.
“Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all joined United of course. It should be noted that Raiola has not ruled out Haaland joining United in the future, he said he deals with Ed Woodward and not managers.”

United are now said to be prioritising other transfer targets this month, with two midfielders high on the agenda.
Jack Grealish and James Maddison have been identified as top targets, but deals for either will not be easy to complete mid-season.
According to ESPN, Sean Longstaff and Emre Can are two more realistic targets.
