Chelsea could be tempted by Jose Callejon, Luka Modric and Layvin Kurzawa transfers (Image: GETTY)
Just over a year since he won the Ballon d’Or, Luka Modric is expected to leave Real Madrid this coming summer.
The Croatia international is yet to sign a contract extension at the Bernabeu - and he and Chelsea have history.
The Blues wanted to sign him from Tottenham back in 2012 but were prevented from doing so by Daniel Levy, who flogged him to Spain instead.
And Chelsea could use his experience.

Jose Callejon
Chelsea were interested in signing Jose Callejon when Maurizio Sarri ruled the Stamford Bridge roost.
And, while any move for the Napoli star is unlikely, he could be a clever acquisition.
Chelsea may lose both Willian and Pedro at the end of the season.
They’d have to fork out on two big-name replacements but Callejon, who would cost nothing, would allow them to save their funds for other signings instead.
His performance levels have dropped off over the last two years but Lampard may fancy his chances of coaxing his old best from him.
