Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer issued Jose Mourinho warning over Paul Pogba
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to publicly criticise his players, but be careful of falling into the same trap as Jose Mourinho, according to Jamie Redknapp.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Pogba and Marcus Rashford all faced criticism after the game over the lack of organisation with regards to who was taking the penalty.
And Redknapp believes that the Norwegian needs to show some more leadership and have the confidence to scold his players in public.
He did, however, note that the Old Trafford chief needs to be careful that he doesn’t follow in Jose Mourinho’s footsteps.
Mourinho was unpopular amongst some fans due to his public criticism of players - in particular Rashford.

“I felt there was a big over-reaction to Paul Pogba's missed penalty against Wolves last week,” Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail.
“I shared dressing rooms with a lot of players who did not want to take penalties.
“Pogba had the courage to take one, and Rui Patricio produced a great save.
“At Old Trafford on Saturday, Marcus Rashford took one, hit the post and Manchester United lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace. It happens.

“United now have to bounce back, and what I want to see from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is some leadership.
“I get the sense that is what the club have been lacking lately.
“I’d like to see Solskjaer get tough in public when he is discussing his players — not to the same extent as Jose Mourinho, but just enough to let them know who is boss.”
