Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang secured the Gunners a 2-1 win victory over the dogged Clarets, who got on the scoresheet through Ashley Barnes.
Victory over the Lancashire side was Arsenal’s second on the bounce - their first being a 1-0 win over Newcastle - and fired them to the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal had not won their first two games of a Premier League season for 10 years prior to their back-to-back victories over Newcastle and Burnley.
