Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told why he needs to sell Paul Pogba
FORMER Manchester United midfielder Kleberson believes now is the time for the Red Devils to sell Paul Pogba.
Paul Pogba is currently seeking a move away from Old Trafford after lacklustre season for the Red Devils, who ended the 2018-19 Premier League campaign in sixth place.
Real Madrid are keen on signing the France international as well as Juventus, with the Italians openly admitting they’re contemplating bringing the midfielder back to Turin.
It’s understood United are willing to part company with the World Cup winner, but only if their £135million valuation of the player is met.
But Kleberson believes the Red Devils should cash in the 26-year-old as soon as possible.
“It is the right move to sell Paul Pogba, he's a great player and his talent is unbelievable," the Brazilian told the Manchester Evening News. "But his style is a little bit different, and not particularly what Man United need.
"He could use this opportunity now to leave and get a fresh start, play in a different atmosphere, and embrace a new challenge.
"Sometimes it's hard to come to Manchester United and adapt to play a particular style.
“It doesn't mean he's not a good player with great quality. There's a lot of criticism around the players, sometimes it doesn't always go well.

"You work hard, you want to perform for the team, but some things go wrong, and these can be out of your control."
Kleberson endured two torrid years at Old Trafford following a stellar 2002 World Cup with Brazil but doesn’t see any similarities between his situation and Pogba’s.
"Paul Pogba had played a lot more games, more opportunities than me when I was at Man United," he said.
"I had many injuries in the time when I was there. He's played well since being there but not to the level we should expect from him.
“When he plays for France, we see it, he was a massive part of them winning the World Cup. He's the heartbeat of the France team."
Pogba revealed his desire to leave Manchester United last month at an Adidas event in Tokyo saying: “Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well.
“For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.
"After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well.
“I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else. I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else."
The Frenchman’s agent Mino Raiola is hopeful of securing his client a move away from the Theatre of Dreams and believes United should grant his wish to leave the club.
“The player [Pogba] has done nothing wrong,” Raiola said during an appearance on talkSPORT. “He has been respectful and professional in every way and always. he club has known his feeling for a long time.
“It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this. Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties.”
