Manchester United chief Woodward is currently working on transfers at Old Trafford and has already secured the signings of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Swansea and Crystal Palace respectively.
The Red Devils made James their first signing in the middle of June, with the Wales international arriving from Championship side Swansea.
Wan-Bissaka, meanwhile, made his move to Manchester United official on Saturday. The defender arrives from Palace for £50million, making him the club’s fifth most-expensive signing of all time.
A leaked email from Woodward suggested more business was to be done, with the United chief saying: “Despite the inflated nature of the transfer market and constant speculation and stories, which can be misleading, the recruitment team - in conjunction with the manager (Ole Gunnar Solskjaer) - are working calmly behind the scenes to bring in other exciting players that fit their long-term vision for the club.”

Woodward has supposedly flatly refused to make De Gea United’s top earner, with the goalkeeper seeking pay parity with Alexis Sanchez.
And the Evening Standard say he is willing to risk De Gea leaving on a free transfer for two reasons.
One, is that he feels United have already got sufficient use out the 28-year-old.
De Gea touched down from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011 as Edwin van der Sar’s replacement and initially experienced teething problems at Old Trafford.
But he bounced back to establish himself as the club’s undisputed No 1, seeing off challenges from the likes of Ander Lindegaard, Sergio Romero and Victor Valves during his time at the club.
