MANCHESTER UNITED transfer target Matthijs de Ligt changed his mind about a move to Barcelona before the club’s Champions League defeat to Tottenham, according to reports.

Manchester United are determined to beat Barcelona to the signing of Ajax star De Ligt this summer.
The 19-year-old Holland international is seen as the ideal signing to kickstart a bright new era under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who replaced Jose Mourinho back in December.
Manchester United are pressing hard to sign a centre-back after a nightmare Premier League campaign that saw them ship 54 goals and finish sixth, outside of the Champions League slots.
For months, De Ligt has been primed to join Barcelona with the La Liga giants verbally agreeing a deal.

De Ligt then added: "The reason [for the delay] is very simple: there has been information for a long time in which my future has been talked about and the window of signings has not yet started.
“I am not the one who writes this information.”
If United miss out on De Ligt, they have several other players in their sights.
Kalidou Koulibaly, of Napoli, is admired by United supremo Ed Woodward.
And links to the likes of Milan Skriniar, Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane are also refusing to go away.
