Celtic are cruising to an eighth-consecutive Scottish Premiership title after last week’s win over Rangers put them 13-points clear at the top.
The Hoops built on that victory with a win over St Mirren in midweek and drew with Livingston on Saturday to make it a 14-point gap.
Rangers can narrow that lead to 11 points with a win over Motherwell today but the title is all-but guaranteed to head back to Parkhead.
Rodgers - now at Leicester - enjoyed a positive start to the season but despite leaving as he approached a third title as Celtic boss, Lennon is keen for fans to praise his predecessor.
“There are players here from my previous time, but it’s still got Brendan’s stamp on it.”
Although Lennon will have the title victory on his CV, he isn’t taking any credit despite winning four league games since his return.
After praising Rodgers, Lennon has named a target for the remainder of the season as staying unbeaten during his tenure.
He added: “To finish the season unbeaten since coming here would be great.
