Chelsea news: Did you see the look on Maurizio Sarri's face after questions about his job?
MAURIZIO SARRI looked less-than-impressed to be fielding questions about his future at Chelsea ahead of the Blues' Europa League tie with Malmo on Thursday (8pm).
Chelsea hold a 2-1 advantage from the first leg and are expected to rest a number of key players against the Swedish outfit with the Carabo Cup final looming this weekend.
When asked in his pre-match press conference whether he will continue with his favoured 4-3-3 formation, Sarri said: “The system is the first problem.
“I know very well that when we lose I have to put a striker on the pitch, when we win I put a defender on but I want to see football in another way.”

“I have to think we are able to improve and improve immediately,” he said.
“I have to think I will be Chelsea manager for a long time or I cannot work.
“I am not sure but I must think this and want to work with a long term target,” he added.
Sarri often adopts a dour demeanour on the training ground and in the dugout, and the Chelsea boss was no different sat in front of the press this morning.

The Italian is expected to be in charge until at least the cup final against Manchester City, although his future could rest on getting a result against Pep Guardiola’s side.
It remains to be seen whether Sarri will abandon his preferred way of playing in order to accomodate the fans’ wishes, with the manager claiming one good performance will be enough to turn the tide.
