Liverpool vs Leicester line-ups confirmed: Van Dijk STARTS as Klopp makes big decision
LIVERPOOL defender Virgil van Dijk has been named in the starting line-up to face Leicester this evening.
Van Dijk needed to be assessed ahead of tonight’s game after being ill.
But the Dutchman has come through tests to take his place in the starting XI.
Elsewhere, Jurgen Klopp appears to have opted to play Georginio Wijnaldum at right-back.
James Milner is suspended, Trent Alexander Arnold is injured and Nathaniel Clyne was loaned out at the start of the month.
Xherdan Shaqiri comes into the side in an attack-minded line-up.
For Leicester, manager Claude Puel makes three changes for the trip to Anfield.
Jonny Evans starts in central defence while Ricardo Pereira replaces Danny Simpson.
James Maddison returns to the starting XI in place of Harvey Barnes.
