LIVERPOOL extended their lead at the top of the Premier League with a nervy 4-3 win over Crystal Palace at Anfield, but which of Jurgen Klopp's men impressed most?
Liverpool temporarily moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier League with a thrilling victory over Crystal Palace.
Andros Townsend gave the visitors the lead after 34 minutes but the Reds hit back early in the second half through Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
James Tomkins brought Palace level once more but Salah got his second of the match with 15 minutes remaining before James Milner was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Sadio Mane made it four in injury time and there was still a few seconds left for Max Meyer to also get on the scoresheet but Liverpool held on for all three points.

Liverpool player ratings vs Crystal Palace – Premier League
GK: Alisson – 5
Strange afternoon for the Brazilian, who didn’t really have to make a save yet conceded three.
RB: James Milner – 4
Offered a good outlet in attack but was run ragged by Wilfried Zaha all afternoon and was eventually given his marching orders for two fouls on the winger in quick succession.
CB: Joel Matip – 7
An impressive return to action with the rangy centre-back keeping his cool in a frantic match.
Went close with a header and forced Julian Speroni into a vital save.
CB: Virgil van Dijk – 7
Played a part in Liverpool’s first when his deflected shot fell to Salah.
Also went close with a header and will be annoyed to have conceded three when he didn’t really put a foot wrong defensively.
LB: Andrew Robertson – 7
Forced onto the back foot for large portions of the match but finally got free in the second half and and added an assist when he played in Mane.
CM: Jordan Henderson – 8
A brilliant performance full of energy and drive as the captain put himself about fighting fires all over the pitch.
Kept his concentration well and was a key part of Liverpool’s play both in defence and attack.
CM: Fabinho – 6
A physical presence in the opening exchanges but tailed away and was replaced after picking up a knock.
RAM: Sadio Mane – 7
Very quiet for the opening hour but was much more of a threat in the closing stages and finished superbly late on.
CAM: Roberto Firmino – 7
Didn’t get too many clear sights of goal but was rewarded for his hard work with a deflected strike.
LAM: Naby Keita – 5
Started out on the left and looked a little lost.
Failed to get involved in the game despite some tidy touches and was almost non-existent in the second half before his substitution.
ST: Mohamed Salah – 8
Not a vintage performance and got away with what looked suspiciously like a dive but pulled off an excellent finish to get Liverpool back in the game.
Was then in the right place to knock home the third and that’s two more for the tally.
SUB: Xherdan Shaqiri (on for Keita, 71 mins) – 6
Gave the Reds fresh legs to help combat Zaha.
SUB: Adam Lallana (on for Fabinho, 87 mins) – N/A
Another brief run-out but no time to really get involved.
SUB: Rafael Camacho (on for Salah, 94 mins) - N/A
Allowed Liverpool to use up a couple more precious seconds as Salah ambled off.
