Manchester United have named Dan Gore in their 23-man squad for the Europa League clash against FC Porto. The youngster, who captained the Under-21s against Hertha Berlin on Tuesday night, has travelled with the first team to Porto after making his debut under Erik ten Hag last September.

Despite a lengthy injury layoff, the highly-rated 20-year-old is eager to regain his form.

In other news, Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire are also part of the squad, having fully participated in Wednesday's training session at Carrington following their recovery from injuries. Mainoo's inclusion comes as a significant boost for United, especially after he appeared to injure his hamstring during the weekend match against Tottenham.

Despite losing his starting position to Matthijs de Ligt recently, Maguire's availability for selection in Portugal is a positive development for the team. However, Mason Mount will not be joining the squad in Portugal due to a head injury sustained during the Tottenham game.

Although it was confirmed that Mount did not suffer a concussion, he has not been deemed fit enough to travel and will remain in Manchester.

Manchester United have named a 23-man squad for their upcoming clash with Porto. The team includes goalkeepers Onana, Bayindir, and Heaton; defenders De Ligt, Evans, Maguire, Lindelof, Martinez, Dalot, and Mazraoui; midfielders Fernandes, Gore, Mainoo, Eriksen, Ugarte, Collyer, and Casemiro; and attackers Amad, Garnacho, Hojlund, Antony, Rashford, and Zirkzee.
