Marina Granovskaia blocks Gonzalo Higuain deal
Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia has put the Blues’ move for AC Milan hitman Gonzalo Higuain on hold.
Spanish newspaper Marca claimed the Blues are set to sign the 31-year-old, on loan from Juventus, today.
However, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Granovskaia has put Chelsea’s move for Higuain on hold.
The Stamford Bridge director doesn’t want to pay around £45m (€50m) for a player who just turned 31.

Roman Abramovich wants three deals
Roman Abramovich is eyeing three major January transfers, the Daily Mirror claim.
Chelsea are close to signing Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella for £40m, while talks for Zenit St Petersburg’s Leandro Paredes are also underway.
Abramovich also wants another striker, with both Callum Wilson and Mauro Icardi being monitored.
Inter Milan superstar Icardi, 25, would cost the Blues £100m.
Eden Hazard told to leave
Eden Hazard is too good for Chelsea and the Belgium international may consider his future elsewhere, Jermaine Jenas claims.
“How good has Hazard been tonight?” Jenas said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“Demanding the ball, going by players.
“I never thought I would say it, but he’s too good for this Chelsea team.”
