"I think the board have looked after the Liverpool game, which was terrible, and heard Mourinho's comments after it and they must have thought 'hang on a minute'," Brazil told Love Sport Radio.
“They thought they needed to do something there.
“Sure, they've only beaten Cardiff, Bournemouth, Huddersfield and Newcastle.
“But the form United were in, those games wouldn't be easy anyway even though those teams were there to be beaten.

“Solskjaer knows the identity of the club.
“I actually worked with him at Cardiff City when he was there and it didn't work for him.
“Maybe that was because he didn't have the players and now he does.
“It looks like a weight has been lifted off the players.
“If you look at last night's game, it was probably the biggest test in terms of going away to Newcastle which is not always easy.”
