Jose Mourinho: Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos makes admission over former Man Utd boss
REAL MADRID captain Sergio Ramos has admitted he has no say over whether Jose Mourinho will move back to the Bernabeu.
Jose Mourinho could definitely return to Real Madrid says expert
The Portuguese boss was sacked by Manchester United this week and was immediately linked with a move back to the Spanish capital.
Mourinho managed Real Madrid for three seasons, leaving the club in 2013.
During his time with Los Blancos, Mourinho led the club to the La Liga title as well as the Copa del Rey.
Real are currently managed by Santiago Solari, who was placed in charge after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui earlier in the season.
The Spanish giants are currently in the UAE for the Club World Cup and take on Al-Ain in the final of the competition today (4.30pm).
And ahead of the clash, Real captain Ramos was not interested in chatting about the Jose Mourinho speculation.
"I'm nobody to decide who the Real Madrid coach is," Ramos said.
“We've been without Mourinho for five years and you're still talking about him.
"We have the chance to win a title and we're talking about Mourinho.
"A captain doesn't decide the coaches."
Marca claim that only 37 per cent of Real Madrid fans would be happy if Mourinho managed Los Blancos for a second spell.
Mourinho was shown by the door by Manchester United after a disappointing season with the Red Devils in sixth in the Premier League.
And though he was sacked, Mourinho refused to criticise the club after his departure.
He said: “I was always very critical of managers that leave clubs and then they come out and they speak about the details of what happened, who is to blame.
"I could speak about the not-so-good, but that's not me.
"Until I get back to football, I feel I have the right to live my normal life.
"Manchester United has a future without me and I have a future without Manchester United."
