"He's a fantastic player. We all know. I've trained with him for five years," the Belgian said of the former Crystal Palace loanee in an interview with Sky Sports.
"I saw him when he was young, now he is not so young but he can still improve.
“But in the future, I think he will be one of the best midfielders in the country."

But the England international is determined to stick it out at Chelsea.
“Every player goes through tough times. From playing a lot to not playing a lot is tough,” he told The Mirror. "I have a good family and friends who help me when times are tough which is always good for me.
“Also I am strong individually to know what I want in the future. I will always believe I will get to where I want if I keep my head down.”
Loftus-Cheek is enjoying his rich-vein of form and is hoping to become a permanent fixture in Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI.

He said: “When I get the opportunity to play I have got to do my best and to try and make stuff happen but also do what the manager asks me to do defensively.
“Me scoring goals is looking good at the moment. I look to improve on that — I always try to see myself as a goal scoring midfielder.
“Hopefully I can build on this run.”
Loftus-Cheek and his Chelsea team-mates will be back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Molineux to take Wolves.
