Man Utd dressing room revelation: Scholes reveals REAL reason Mourinho threw water bottles
JOSE MOURINHO’s reaction to Manchester United’s winning goal against Young Boys was to show his players he was angry with them.
That is the opinion of Manchester United legend and BT Sport pundit Paul Scholes.
United left it late to beat Young Boys on Tuesday and secure their spot in the Champions League knockout stages.

Marouane Fellaini came up with the vital goal in second-half stoppage time to steal a 1-0 win.
After the goal Mourinho picked up a drinks holder on the side of the pitch and threw it down in frustration.
I’m hoping that was a bit of anger thinking ‘I’m going to get in that dressing room, I want to give them a rocket’
And Scholes says it was clear the Portuguese was not impressed with his side and was going to make the players aware when he got back to the dressing room.
“Of course he cares, everybody cares,” Scholes said of Jose Mourinho.
“We care, we want them to win, we want them to go through to the next round of the Champions League.
“I’m hoping that was a bit of anger thinking ‘I’m going to get in that dressing room, I don’t want everybody smiling, I want to give them a rocket’ because that was good enough.
“I know they’ve won the game, brilliant, I’m pleased for Fellaini.
“They kept going until the end, the keeper again pulled them out of it with a great save.”
Meanwhile, Scholes was disappointed to see the Manchester United players smiling after the below-par performance.
“I thought the play in general was really poor,” he added.
"But they’ve got through the group and that’s what matters.
“What I didn’t like was the smiling going off the pitch at the end.
“They should realise that they’re very, very lucky to get away with that.”
