That’s the opinion of Gunners hero Ray Parlour who is impressed with the 18-year-old.
And Parlour also believes Thierry Henry will have wanted to take Smith Rowe on loan to Monaco as soon as he took the job.
The midfielder has impressed for Emery this season when given opportunity to impress in the Europa League.
Parlour told the Daily Star: “Reiss Nelson has got a lot of players in [his position]. You've got Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Iwobi, all those sorts of players but with Smith Rowe he can play a little bit deeper.
I’m sure Thierry went straight away 'Can we get Smith Rowe on loan?'

“Guendouzi is there, Xhaka, who can play left back now, so with certain players I'm sure you can probably let go.
“I’m sure Thierry went straight away when he went to Monaco [and said], 'Can we get Smith Rowe on loan?'
“So they'll be lots of clubs that want him but I think Arsenal will try and develop him themselves.
“And maybe if he does leave he could be the one to get more game time in the Premier League.”

When asked if Smith Rowe is destined for the top level, Parlour added: “Well at the moment he is but it's a long way to go.
“Again, what he's shown so far has been excellent but there's a lot of hard work to go.
“He’s got to dedicate his life now to football, work hard, listen to his agent, listen to the way the play, develop as a player.
“If he does that he's got every opportunity, he's got everything, he's a decent midfielder.”
