Man Utd news: Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will have impact on January deal - pundit
MANCHESTER UNITED star Alexis Sanchez will NOT move to Paris Saint-Germain in January - because he would not get into the French side's team.
Alexis Sanchez has 'fallen off a cliff' at Man United says pundit
That is according to former Arsenal, Ipswich and England striker Paul Mariner.
Alexis Sanchez has had a retched time at Manchester United since joining from Arsenal in January this year.
The Chile forward has scored just three goals in 21 Premier League games for the Red Devils.
Sanchez has often found himself out of the starting XI this season and his future at the club is in doubt.
Where’s he going to play at PSG? Who’s he going to out? It doesn’t make any sense to me
PSG are one of a number of clubs who have been linked with a move for Sanchez in the upcoming window.
But Mariner cannot see how the 29-year-old would get into Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI, with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe currently the first-choice options on the wings.
“This is staggering,” Mariner said of Sanchez’s form at United.
“He’s fallen off a cliff at Manchester United.
“At Arsenal he was absolutely sensational, I loved him to death.
“I don’t know what’s happened to him at Manchester United.
“I’m a little bit torn on this. He should be good enough to get in the Manchester United side.
“He’s obviously not, he came on as a sub at the weekend.
“Where’s he going to play at PSG? Who’s he going to out?
"It doesn’t make any sense to me.
“For Sanchez, I think it does make sense.
"But for PSG, no, I’m going to say no.”
