Leeds United face Nottingham Forest in the Championship today aiming to boost their chances of a Premier League return.
Bielsa’s side started the season in fine form, bating Stoke, Derby, Bolton and Rotherham in their first four league matches.
Since then, though, Leeds have dropped off a little leading to concerns over whether they have the squad depth to secure the return to the top flight that so many fans crave.
And Warnock, who spent three years at Elland Road between 2012 and 2015, has now spoken to Express Sport about their title credentials.
“Tony Pulis has a really good squad there and I think that should see them up.
“But Leeds will definitely not be far behind.
“The worst-case scenario for them is finishing in the play-offs, that’s how solid I think they are.

“You do have some other teams in there too, though.
“West Brom and Derby are picking up points. There’s a long way to go.”
Warnock also believes Kemar Roofe will have a key role to play this season.
The youngster has already bagged five goals this season and has been among the most eye-catching players of the Bielsa era.
