Fantasy Premier League tips: In-form FPL players you need for GW10 – Martial, Aubameyang
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE form guides can give managers a good indication of who to sign and who to avoid – so which transfers will you target ahead of GW10?
Fantasy Premier League managers have been left scratching their heads after another unpredictable weekend of results in the top flight.
Manchester United and Chelsea played out an enthralling 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge while Liverpool struggled to break down Huddersfield and Tottenham stumbled to victory over West Ham.
Brighton pulled off a fantastic away win at Newcastle and Arsenal tore apart Leicester on Monday night, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang again bagging two goals from off the bench.
FPL bosses need to move quickly if they are going to sign the Gabon striker before his price rises too high, but he’s not the only in-form fantasy football star worth considering.
FWD: Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal – £9.7m) – 6.8 form
Didn’t get among the goals against the Foxes but still plenty of attacking returns recently with two goals against Fulham and an assist at home to Watford.
MID: Eden Hazard (Chelsea – £11.4m) – 7.0 form
The Belgian’s goalscoring streak was brought to an end by United on Saturday, but Hazard is still in red-hot form.
MID: Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton – £7.4m) – 7.3 form
The Iceland international had scored three goals in two appearances before Everton’s clash with Crystal Palace and arguably could have added to that tally at Goodison Park.
MID: Johann Berg Gudmundson (Burnley – £6.0m) – 7.3 form
Battering from City aside, Burnley and Gudmundsson have been quietly impressive recently with the midfielder having provided five assists already this campaign.
GKP: Mat Ryan (Brighton & Hove Albion – £4.5m) – 7.7 form
Ryan was in top form to shut out Newcastle and scooped up all three bonus points, adding them to his two from the clean sheet against West Ham before the international break.
DEF: Davinson Sanchez (Tottenham Hotspur – £5.8m) – 8.0 form
The Colombian defender has struggled for a consistent run in Mauricio Pochettino’s defence but is making it count now with three consecutive clean sheets.
DEF: Kieran Trippier (Tottenham Hotspur – £6.3m) – 8.0 form
Tripper has enjoyed increased set-piece responsibility due to the absence of Christian Eriksen, and that has increased the defender’s assists and bonus point returns.
FWD: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal – £10.7m) – 9.0 form
Left out of the starting line-up for the previous two fixtures and still came away with four goals.
Well worth the investment with his price having dropped from an original £11million at the start of the season.
DEF: Matt Doherty (Wolverhampton Wanderers – £4.8m) – 9.3 form
Doherty and his Wolves team-mates came back down to earth with a bump against Watford, having kept four clean sheets in the previous five appearances.
Two goals inside a minute from the Hornets were a blow on Saturday, but Doherty still presents an excellent option both in defence and attack.
MID: Anthony Martial (Manchester United – £7.3m) – 10.0 form
The form man in the top flight after his two goals earned United a draw against Chelsea.
Martial has had his disagreements with manager Jose Mourinho but looks one of the most exciting prospects at Old Trafford this season and should enjoy plenty more game time.
