As the clock entered stoppage time the ball was flung into the Boro box.
A goal-moth scramble was triggered, with players from each side falling on the ball as it bounced dangerously close to the line.

But the referee was forced to stop play as the mass pile of bodies made it impossible to see the ball.
Sheffield Wednesday fans thought they had been denied a later equaliser.
But did the ball cross the line?
Well, it appears as though the officials were correct, with the ball seemingly getting stuck under the mass of Boro players.
After the game Middlesbrough goalscorer Mo Besic said: "It was a really important win, especially after the last game when we played really badly against Nottingham Forest.
"We needed to prove ourselves and we did that today."
Born striker Britt Assombalonga added: "It was good that we got the win - we needed that after the loss to Forest.
"Coming to Sheffield Wednesday and winning is good for us."
