Britain’s Got Talent WINNER 2018: Lost Voice Guy triumphs over Robert White and Donchez
BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT grand finale was full of sensational performances as the competition came to close, but there could only be one winner of the contest.
Lost Voice Guy WINS Britain’s Got Talent 2018
The 11 Britain's Got Talent finalists were whittled down to just three as Declan Donnelly read out the results
It was Donchez Dacres, Lost Voice Guy and Robert White who were voted into the top three.
Dec announced Donchez as the third place contestant, so it was down to just Robert and Lost Voice Guy.
But after a pregnant pause, it Lost Voice Guy, real name Lee Ridley, was who was announced as the winner.
Lee was pegged as the favourite to win by bookies before the live final as he overtook Robert in the stakes.
Gaining a following for his self-deprecating act, he wowed the judges once more with a exciting performance this evening.
He even joked he spent three minutes of his performance voting for himself on his tablet.
Following his performance, the judges gave glowing praise with Simon even saying he had a "feeling" he would win.
Simon declared: "There's nothing to judge here other than to say you are just an incredibly talented, nice, funny guy.
"I am so happy and honoured you have come on our show. I think you're going to have a great night. I have a feeling.
David Walliams added: "It has taken you all the way to the Britain's Got Talent final. Everyone thinks you're going to win."
Lee will now receive £50,000, a slot in the Royal Variety Performance and a special “surprise” as promised by Simon.
He made the shock announcement earlier this week during the semi-finals.
Britain’s Got Talent is available to watch on the ITV Hub.
