Coronation Street spoilers: Pat Phelan will SPARE Gary Windass? - Here's why
CORONATION STREET viewers are gearing up to witness the brutal return of Pat Phelan in his upcoming revenge plot, and Gary Windass actor Mikey North has detailed his upcoming explosive plot.
Coronation Street: Phelan makes his return in mystery caravan
Next week will see the triumphant return of Coronation Street villain Pat Phelan (played by Connor McIntyre).
Viewers last saw him left for dead after being thrown off a cliff by his wife Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).
Eileen finally realised that he had comitted some heinous crimes, and refused to help him when he fell off a cliff.
With the evildoer returning to the cobbles next week fans are beginning to worry about who Pat is going to attack first.
And considering Gary (Mikey) isn’t his favourite person, he may be number one target for Pat.
Although upcoming scenes will show Gary tracking down the mysterious killer and capturing him, he soon escapes.
But will Gary escape from Pat?
Gary’s actor Mikey recently spoke to Radio Times about his enormous mistake.
He said: “Gary has messed up again. He had the best of intentions, but it’s all gone wrong.
“Gary’s a nice guy deep down, but he’s just a bit of an idiot. He doesn’t think of the consequences of his actions, but this is the worst thing he’s ever done.
“Gary, Phelan and planks of wood always seem to end up together. It’s nice that it’s come full circle and to be there at the end.”
However Mikey confessed that he wants to see Gary with Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) when the trauma is over.

He continued: “Gary and Sarah are great together. And I love working with Tina.
“It’s been my favourite part of my time here. Hopefully they can get past this. Fingers crossed for a wedding in the next couple of years.”
However this may have revealed that Gary is safe from Pat’s upcoming onslaught.
He also revealed that he has not got any plans to leave the soap any time soon.
He said: “This has been my best year. Kate Oates [producer] has been great for my character.
“I’m very happy here – I’ve just signed again, so I’m here for the foreseeable.”
Mikey’s comments follow details on Michelle Connor’s (Kym Marsh) latest scandal.
It has been revealed she will be caught kissing her ex Steve McDonald (Simon Greyson).
But will Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) go ahead with the wedding after this betrayal?
Coronation Street continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
