Contestant Richard was the one to make the surprise confession on The Chase today just before he faced Anne, 59, on the ITV quiz programme.
The 63-year-old revealed to Bradley Walsh that he had previously been a contestant on BBC quiz show Mastermind.
Bradley, 57, stood with his mouth agape before he said: “Quiz pedigree, I see where you’re going with that.”
However, when the camera shot back to the Governess, she did not look happy at the revelation.
