DANCING ON ICE is set for a huge alteration in proceedings following a flurry of complaints from viewers.

The change concerns Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who are the presenters of ITV contest Dancing On Ice.
Fans have been outraged over one aspect of the show, and it seems producers listened to the feedback as they have implemented an important change.
Last weekend saw This Morning's Holly, 37, and Phillip, 55, opt for handheld microphones over the pin-on ones they had been using up until then.
It looked as though the show was finally responding to viewers’ protestations after weeks of complaining about the sound quality.

The sound quality is rubbish
During previous episodes, fans had been so shocked by the audio, they took to Twitter to comment.
One viewer vented: “OMG @dancingonice the sound was absolutely terrible tonight could hardly hear anything @hollywills @Schofe were saying tonight the Audience were so loud in fact to loud #DancingOnIce.”(sic)
“To the sound guys on @dancingonice on @ITV do the crowd sounds need to be so loud would nice to hear what @philscofieldITV and @hollywills are saying. Turn the crowd sound effects down. Or get new sound mixers,” another advised.

While a third added: “The sound quality is rubbish, the audience needs quietening or the microphones turned up.”(sic)
However, Phillip provided a different reason for the switch on his Twitter page.
He wrote: ”The wind was so noisy we thought we'd lose the roof. Stick mics hid it better than the personal mics we usually use."
This weekend’s show will also see another change come into play as there will be a double elimination.

With only two female contestants left in the competition, this could mean that after Sunday only male celebrities will remain.
Lemar was the first male competitor to go after he was booted off the show at the weekend.
He had already been in three skate-offs, but managed to send home three female celebrities in the head-to-heads.
The popstar admitted he had to change his survival routine, explaining that that his original to Bruno Mars' Grenade had been seen three times already.
Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
