This Morning’s Phillip Schofield enters ‘TINGLE PHASE’ as he receives unusual treatment
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby spoke to an ASMR expert on This Morning who believes she can help anyone to sleep with her unique treatment.
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response is the term used for an experience characterised by a “tingling” sensation on the skin that tends to run from the neck to the spine.
The ITV pair set about trying Emma’s unusual methods which she believes can trigger the desired effect.
Firstly, she started by spelling out letters on the presenters’ backs which Holly, 36, admitted she felt “quite shivery”.
Emma showcased her unique techniques of putting people to sleep
Phillip, 55, joked: “If you actually put us to sleep you will have to send us to sleep!”
Emma’s tactics then included rustling some tissues and playing with rice and coffee beans.
But it was the final method that seemed to relax them the most.
Emma took a brush to Phillip’s face while massaging his head using a metal contraption.
