X Factor final 2017: Simon Cowell drops major 2018 show BOMBSHELL to Dermot O'Leary
THE X FACTOR final 2017 kicked off tonight with the first live show of the weekend, but show boss Simon Cowell has dropped a huge bombshell for next year's programme.
X Factor's Dermot: Profits from winners single will go to charity
Kevin Davy White was eliminated from the competition this evening, leaving Rak-Su and Grace Davies to battle it out for the title tomorrow.
However, host Dermot O'Leary noted that the public had made all the decisions this year after the bottom two, Deadlock and voting from the judges was controversially scrapped.
The 44-year-old asked head judge Simon Cowell: "Obviously the public called the shots this year. Do you think they've picked the right final three?"
Simon, 58, replied: "Everything that's gone on so far Dermot this year... the public have made all the right decisions. The right three are here. It's great!"
