Bradley argues with Anne in German on The Chase
Less than ten minutes into the show, the pair came to blows over a question about the German language in the head-to-head round.
Contestant John was asked: “What length of times is known as ‘eine Stunde’ in Germany?”
He was given the choice of “a second”, “a minute” or “an hour”, and opted for “a second”.
Anne also believed “a second” was the correct answer and was left stunned when “an hour” was the answer.

The chaser noted: “I thought an hour was an ‘houre’.”
“It gives it away by the eine. As in ‘an’ gives it away,” Bradley told her.
But Anne was not convinced, quipping: “No. All German words for ‘a’ are ein or eine.”
“Yes, ein but not eine,” Bradley snapped back. “Do you know what a second is in German? Do you know what a minute is in German?

“Eine stunde is an hour. Get it right. Come on love, pull yourself together.”
As Anne tried to defend her error, the presenter warned: “We’re not talking anymore. We’re moving on.”
It comes after yesterday’s instalment saw Bradley Walsh support a contestant’s decision to take a low offer in the head-to-head round sparking a backlash from fans at home.
