When 25-year-old Conor was up to play against chaser Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan, host Bradley Walsh asked the question: “What is the name of the round android that appears in the Star Wars film, The Force Awakens?”
Uncertain, the Irish retail supervisor answered correctly with BB-8 but admitted: “I’m not a huge fan of the Star Wars films but I seem to remember hearing that somewhere”.
Bewildered, the franchise’s fans took to Twitter to query the "wrong" question.
One person asked: “Anyone notice that minor blip calling BB-8 an ‘android' on #TheChase ? Androids are only human-shaped robots, hence the name.”
