Since the end of the most deadly conflict in human history, hundreds of World War II movies have been produced all around the world.

Express.co.uk unveiled the Top 10 of all time, as ranked by fans on IMDb and Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-winning epic Schindler’s List came out on top.

His other World War II blockbuster Saving Private Ryan came in at No 2, but the director’s Holocaust movie has the highest score on the website.

The 3 hour and 15 minute black and white masterpiece tells the true story of Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson), a German industrialist who saved the lives of 1100 Polish Jews by employing them in his factories.
