Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Charlotte Hawkins and Kate Garraway CLASH over husband
STRICTLY COME DANCING star Charlotte Hawkins locked horns with her Good Morning Britain co-star Kate Garraway today as they discussed taking a husband’s surname.

The subject sparked a huge reaction with viewers, as Charlotte Hawkins defended not taking her spouse’s marital name, Herbert.
Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard joined in, and quipped: “[Viewer] Paul Miller says you should only change your name if it’s better than yours.”
After Ben teased that Charlotte simply didn’t want to be a Hakwins-Herbert, the 42-year-old hit back: “No, it’s not to do with the name, it’s to do with the principle.”
“Are you not proud of your husband?” Kate laughed. “This is Strictly Come Dancing for you. You’ve changed.”

The banter comes ahead of Charlotte’s third dance on Strictly where she’ll be performing the Tango.
Alongside her partner Brendan Cole, the couple will be hoping for a better result than last week after Charlotte was brutalised by the judging panel.
Following their on-screen demolition, Brendan lashed out at head judge Shirley Ballas during an explosive rant on It Takes Two.

Still fuming, Brendan slammed her cruel criticism, accused her of making hypocritical comments about what she wanted to see and even questioned her job as a judge.
Host Zoe Ball asked: "Shirley sort of said what about simpler routines? Brendan, you're the boss of this partnership…"
He replied: "I am the boss of this partnership. I think she should keep her, those, opinions to herself!”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
