GMB: Piers Morgan returns to work 16 hours after surgery
The 52-year-old teased Richard Arnold during the ITV show when he revealed that his nurse was the showbiz reporter’s biggest fan.
“Here’s Richard, very popular with Australian nurses in central London,” sighed the Good Morning Britain presenter.
Piers Morgan continued: “There I was having the bump on my back taken out yesterday, massive surgery, obviously manning up here.
“In the crucial gouging and removal of this gristle, the Australian nurse says, ‘Do you know what I love most about your programme in the morning?’ She went, ‘I love that Richard Arnold’.”
