EASTENDERS newcomer Bernadette Taylor lost her baby girl during tonight's episode.

The pregnant teenage schoolgirl (played by Clair Norris) lost her unborn child at just 18 weeks.
Emotional scenes saw the character bleeding and keeling over, before her mother Karen Baker (Lorraine Stanley) left the bathroom to reveal that Bernadette had lost her baby.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk this week, Lorraine hinted at more to come, saying: "I can't tell you everything yet as it hasn't all happened.
"There's some really good stuff coming up," she continued.

In upsetting scenes, Bernadette heartbreakingly spoke to her stillborn to apologise.
Karen later told her daughter that the loss may have been for the best and that she could try again in the future.
Devastated, Bernadette replied: “You said it was going to be alright. I don’t want a different one.”

Tonight's dramatic episode also saw another confirmed character's death along with a few that will play out next week.
Steven Beale (Aaron Sidwell) was in hospital before his heart monitor flatlined having been told that he was the father of Abi Branning's (Lorna Fitzgerald) baby.
It came as Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) was miraculously saved after Steven's arson attack, much to Max Branning's (Jake Wood) horror and surprise.
Johnny Carter's (Ted Reilly) life still hangs in the balance after being shot and then later injured when the ambulance he was being escorted in collided with a tanker and overturned.
