The BBC show’s official Twitter page shared a number of glamorous snaps of the group as they prepare to take to the floor for the first time, however there were a few notable people missing.
The X Factor’s Alexandra Burke and comedian Susan Calman were not pictured in the lighthearted photos, which saw them trying on some very sparkly outfits.
“Don't they scrub up well? Synchronised sequins and spray-tans for our brand new #Strictly trail,” the uploads were captioned.
One picture saw Debbie McGee, Simon Rimmer and Reverend Richard Coles peering from between some enormous blue and white plumes.

Another was of Gemma Atkinson, Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins and actress Chizzy Akudolu showing off their glittering dresses in black and gold.
Meanwhile, Brian Conley, JLS's Aston Merrygold and Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock were also seen larking around in their suits.
Susan, 42, later explained her absence, tweeting to say she had avoided the shoot because the "sight of me in a dress and heels is being kept secret lest the British public become overwhelmed".

Alexandra’s absence could have something to do with the fact that yesterday was her 29th birthday, so who can blame her for missing out.
It comes just days after the show's full line-up of competitors was revealed, a list which also includes Mollie King.
Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return as hosts and will be joined by resident judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli, as well as new star Shirley Ballas.
Strictly Come Dancing 2017 will begin on September 9 on BBC One.
