The presenter spoke out on Loose Women just days after she took to Twitter to announce that she was engaged to her partner of three years, Nick Feeney.
The 47-year-old, who has been married twice before, hit back at suggestions she was a “hypocrite” and opened up about what made her change her mind.
Appearing on the ITV show alongside Linda Robson, Katie Price and Janet Street-Porter, Andrea commented: “I’ve sat here in this very seat, saying, ‘Never again!’”
After the latter, 70, suggested she’d been lying, the TV star continued: “Janet, I’m not a hypocrite, I just changed my mind.

“I genuinely felt I didn’t want to get married again. Nick and I had been together for a couple of years or so, and he said, ‘You know you keep saying never again… it makes me feel really bad that you don’t want to marry me’.”
Andrea, who was previously married to Nick Green and Steve Toms, went on: “To just dismiss it like that is quite insulting and I hadn’t considered that.
“It was the kids that made us change our mind, they really wanted that security. Hopefully third time lucky.”
