During a round about small animal cartoon characters on the BBC show, which included the question: “Bespectacled hamster who acts as an assistant to Danger Mouse,” the former recalled his co-host’s role in the new film reboot.
Nodding, Armstrong pointed to the comedian: “You’re in it too of course,” to which Osman replied: “Very briefly.”
But when the 47-year-old presenter told him it was “enough”, he appeared instantly taken aback by the sharp comment.
Fumbling to backtrack on his words, Armstrong said: “It’s enough to mean that you are in it - is what I mean.

Goodness me that is awful
“Goodness me that is awful,” he added hastily, laughing.
While Osman didn’t choose to respond to the accidental slight, except to shrug and roll his eyes at the audience, the pair quickly moved on to a “saucier” Pointless topic in the form of: “Things found in a bedroom."
Armstrong also struggled under the attentions of a flirtatious contestant on the show recently.
Anne, an English Literature student with the Open University, joked with the host during a round about James Bond actors.
