SUSANNA REID was almost lost for words on today's Good Morning Britain as she spoke to Robert Atkinson and Melvyn Akins about the housing crisis facing those who lost their homes in the Grenfell Tower fire.

The presenter was left furious as it was revealed that less than 20 people have been rehoused permanently following the tragedy last month.
Justice For Grenfell campaigner Melvin explained: "Most people are still in bed and breakfasts and hotels. Less than 20 residents have been put into accommodation that is considered as permanent."
Meanwhile, Labour councillor Robert claimed that his party had consistently challenged the treatment of those in North Kensington but there complaints had fallen on deaf ears.
"If you look at the record, the Labour representative in the council chamber, we have challenged throughout this area," he affirmed.

Susanna said she was shocked that no one had taken control of the situation
I cannot believe that someone hasn't got a grip of this
But Susanna Reid was far from impressed by his assurances that they were doing as much as possible to help those who had been affected and she made sure they knew exactly how she felt.
"Well, thank you," she said as she brought the interview to a close. "Thanks very much indeed. I don't know what to say really.
"It just seems… I cannot believe that someone hasn't got a grip of this. You've had another council come in to deal with the response and you've got this housing crisis.
Robert said he agreed with someone had to step up and spend money to help rehouse the victims
Susanna lashed out at those responsible for not doing more to help
"Now, you've got this knock on effect for other people looking for houses in the area."
Robert quickly agreed and urged the council to "spend the money and show some leadership”.
Susanna was joined by Kate Garraway on this morning's show as Piers Morgan skipped his hosting duties following a "big day".
