THE BBC weather report was presented by Carol Kirkwood today who bought a touch of colour to the dull, dreary morning in a gorgeous red dress.

Delivering the morning forecast, the weather presenter looked sensational as she warned viewers to prepare for wet weather all week.
This morning, there is heavy rain throughout the UK and later today in the south, there will be some showers which may turn thundery.
There will be a lot of rain in Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England and parts of Wales today in stark contrast to last week’s balmy conditions.
Carol warned viewers the rain has been heavy overnight so there will be a lot of surface water and spray on the roads.

Today in the north of Scotland, it will be a chilly start as the rain continues to move out of Northern Ireland and into the country.
Southern counties in the UK will see a lot of cloud and there will be a little bit of sunshine but Carol said this won’t last.
Later on today, showers will get heavy and thundery. However, it will feel quite sticky in the south as the temperature will get up to 20 degrees celsius in the south although cooler in the north.
This evening, there will still be lots of rain and it will feel chilly for those who are out early in the morning.

It will be a wet day for many, especially those in the north of the UK
Highs of 20 degrees celsius will be seen in the UK today
And tomorrow, there will be more rain around although there will be dry spots in the north of Scotland and in the south.
Temperatures will range between 12 to 13 degrees celsius in the north and highs of 19 degrees celsius in the south.
