Simon welcomed two guests to discuss Lucha Libre wrestling in a bizarre segment which saw a female wrestler in full costume joining the pair on the show.
The 54-year-old Channel 4 favourite appeared to get a little too into it as he donned one of the wrestling masks and began pacing the studio as Tim, 49, jokingly recited his character backstory.
"How are you feeling in that mask?" Tim asked, as Simon looked up menacingly through the eyeholes of the spandex mask.

Simon appeared to turn violent
"Different mate," he replied, before grabbing his presenter partner by the back of the head and slamming him face first into the table in front of them.
Viewers heard a dramatic bang as the guests in the studio let out an audible gasp of shock.
Tim then stumbled backwards holding his head, exclaiming: "Jesus, mate…"
Simon embraced his new wrestling persona as he raised his arms in the air in victory.

Luckily it was a staged stunt
Luckily, the move was just a stunt, however, as Tim quickly recovered, quipping: "I never knew he had that side to him!"
As Simon removed his mask he acted as if he was returning to normal, looking surprised as he said: "I don't know what happened then! I have absolutely no idea."
"I am a trained stuntman, by the way," Tim assured the audience as the pair struggled to hold back laughter.
Sunday Brunch airs Sundays at 9.30am on Channel 4.
