Sunday Brunch in CHAOS as viewers spot THESE epic blunders mid-show
SUNDAY BRUNCH was thrown into chaos once more as viewers noticed not one, but two, disastrous gaffes during today's show.
Sunday Brunch: Tracy-Ann Oberman fails to make poached egg
Sunday Brunch in CHAOS, but did you spot this EPIC gaffe?
As hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer discovered a new trend of Japanese Poké, viewers couldn't help but spot a blunder on one of the dish's name cards.
The offering was labelled as, "Pickled mackarel, mooli & beetroot salad", but some eagle-eyed watchers noticed that the fish was spelt wrong.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: "@SundayBrunchC4 not how to spell 'mackerel' dudes! #SundayBrunch."
Viewers noticed that 'mackerel' was spelt wrong on the place card
Further to that, Tracy-Ann Oberman struggled to poach the perfect egg
It's okay because when it looks rubbish I will blame you and not me
Another agreed, adding: "@SundayBrunchC4 who proof reads the display cards for items?? It's mackerel not mackArel #SundayBrunch #spelling."
This came after an attempt to make a poached egg went disastrously wrong leaving Simon red-faced.
Guest on the show, Tracy-Ann Oberman, was tasked with poaching the perfect egg, but sadly it split in the pan, leaving the white everywhere.
Ominously beginning, 'Eggs are not my forté', the ex-EastEnders star's attempt went awry.
Joking his way through the segment, Simon jibed: "It's okay because when it looks rubbish I will blame you and not me."
Despite the egg seemingly to break, it all came together in the end as Simon served a delicious plate of hake with crushed potatoes and a mustard butter sauce.
Sunday Brunch airs Sundays on Channel 4 from 9.30am.
