CORONATION STREET will pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester terror attack during tonight’s episode.

Following the bombings at an Ariana Grande concert in the city’s Manchester Arena on Monday night, Coronation Street will honour the 22 concert-goers who died in the blast with a poignant message.
The ITV soap will close with a photograph which includes the words “We Stand Together”, replacing the usual sponsorship promotion at 8pm.
Corrie’s social media accounts will also run the same picture as a mark of respect.
A spokesperson for the show said: “Manchester is the home of Coronation Street and we felt it was important to show our support for the victims of the bombing and the people of this great city.”

Among those killed on Monday night included Corrie super fan Martyn Hett, who also appeared on Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me and sported a Deirdre Barlow tattoo on his leg.
Gemma Winter actress Dolly Rose Campbell paid tribute to Martyn, 29, on behalf of the entire Coronation Street cast.
“I first met Martyn at Manchester Pride two years ago. He was a lovely man full of spirit and a massive fan of Coronation Street, it was a pleasure to spend time with Martyn, he was funny, smart and someone that spread joy everywhere he went.
