Pointless: Armstrong and Osmond LAUGH at contestant's job
Glaswegian Mark appeared on the latest episode of the BBC quiz show alongside his friend Laura, with the hope of winning the £1000 jackpot.
As always, affable presenter Alexander, 47, asked first-up Mark what he did for work.
The contestant said he was a planning manager for a "bespoke pumping manufacturer", which prompted endless questions from Alexander and his Pointless co-host Richard, 46.
Discussing the cost of the pumps, Mark explained: "They can range from £1,000 to £10 million."

That is quite the offer
"We've got £8million," Richard quipped.
With a big smile, the player cheekily added: "We could get you a good pump for that."
The audience began to laugh at the innuendo as Richard replied: "That is quite the offer."

"We've been offered a 'good pump' by our Glaswegian," Alexander concluded.
Mark and his partner Laura made it through to the head-to-head round and will return tomorrow for another shot at the jackpot.
