Princess Diana's former butler appeared on the chat show to break his silence on his marriage to Graham Cooper but viewers slammed the 58-year-old for using the opportunity to "milk Diana's death".
Speaking about the first time he met his partner, he revealed: "He's incredible, he's my soul mate… Our eyes met and I looked at him and thought, 'you're him, I have been looking for you'."
The pair went on to marry in a romantic Lake District ceremony earlier this month, with Paul's two sons in attendance.
When asked by Lorraine if he believed Diana knew the truth about his sexuality, he commented: "I think she had to have known it.
