Appearing on ITV's Lorraine today to discuss their upcoming tour Kevin and Karen Dance, the dancing duo explained that their future on Strictly Come Dancing is uncertain at the moment.
When quizzed by Lorraine Kelly, Karen revealed: "We don't know yet, they let us know later on in the year.
"We keep that bit in our calendar free just in case," joked the pair.
However, the 57-year-old host was quick to reassure the couple that they would definitely be back.

Cheeky Kevin even managed to ask Lorraine if she fancied a stint on Strictly, but Lorraine was having none of it and replied: "Not a chance. Not even you could teach me.
"Susanna Reid was brilliant and had a natural talent, but not a chance," she joked.
Kevin also relived the moment he proposed to Karen whilst on stage after a performance of Burn The Floor.
"It could have gone horribly wrong," he teased.
