Line Of Duty ends on TERRIFYING cliffhanger
Line of Duty viewers furious over 'poor sound quality' as dramatic episode sees Roz left for dead
Thandie Newton made her debut in the hit BBC show as DCI Roz Huntley, and already things were not looking great for the senior office as she was left inches away from death at the episode's climax.
As Roz set to investigating a serial killer and abduction case, it was revealed that the man they arrested was not the culprit.
When Tim Ifield (played by Jason Watkins) tried to tell Roz this, she wasn't interested and it was left to the forensic co-ordinator to shop her in to AC-12 as he believed evidence may have been tampered with at the crime scene.
After confronting him, Roz was left for dead until she opened her eyes to see Tim about to chop her up with a chainsaw.
Whilst the episode was tense and gripping, some viewers became distracted by the show's "poor sound quality".
One posted: "Line of Duty BBC 1 so much background noise - can't hear what's being said! So annoying."
