Line Of Duty season 4: Viewers ‘can’t trust’ Vicky McClure and you won’t believe why
LINE OF DUTY returned to sensational form tonight as the police drama opened with a breathtaking bang.

However, since series three, starlet Vicky McClure has dominated the small screen, most notably in BBC thriller The Replacement, which became a major obstacle for fans of the police drama tonight as they compared her “nut job” character Paula to DS Kate Fleming in their droves.
In the divisive three-part series The Replacement, McClure stole the show as a crazed killer who terrified millions with her deadly stare - the very glance which she brought back as under cover policewoman Fleming.
“Can't watch @Vicky_McClure in anything now without thinking she wants to steal a baby,” gasped one fan, which was followed by: “So comforting to have @Vicky_McClure back as a goodie. #TheReplacement #LineofDuty.”
A third cried: “Anyone else watching #LineofDuty & struggling to remember that Vicky McClure is a goody after her convincing psychopath in #TheReplacement?” before someone else moaned: “I don't trust her... #TheReplacement lady #LineofDuty.”

What’s more, the BBC series welcomed Hollywood star Thandie Newton as DCI Rox Huntley which proved to be a wise move according to those on Twitter.
Though, her future on the show was cast under doubt as tonight’s cliffhanger saw the senior officer trembling with a chainsaw just inches from her face.
Line of Duty continues next Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.
